Welcome to Danigond College of Commerce –Terdal.
Under the guidance and visionary thinking of Dr.M.S.Danigond, Chairman –Danigond Group of Institutes, Danigond PU Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce, under National Education Policy four years’ degree was introduced.
Danigond College of Commerce (B.Com), Terdal was established in 2015 with an objective to provide interested students to pursue careers in the fields of finance, accounting, banking, communication, insurance and business.
The College will play a versatile role in equipping our future dynamic managers and entrepreneurs with the emerging trends of commerce skills to face the challenges of the dynamic business world.
It has dreamt of making students to develop the required practical knowledge, attitudes, values, skills to become best citizens of the society. At this juncture, there is a need to redefine commerce education in the emerging scenario to become dynamic entrepreneurs and strengthen it further.
The College helped students to develop strong foundation in various business career opportunities in the fields of business management, economics, banking, insurance, communication, taxation and other critical areas.
Danigond PU Commerce College and Danigond College of Commerce (B.Com), Terdal is co-educational, residential and day boarding college which has 25 acres beautiful campus with panoramic view in the North Karnataka.
Under the guidance, support and visionary thinking of Dr.M.S.Danigond, the College is designed to provide learning and living environment with disciplined, character and value based education for personality development.
The College has given importance to practical oriented teaching and to develop students to prepare for competitive examinations.

Dr. Mahaveer S. Danigond a philanthropist in Terdal Nagar, have established school and colleges under SDM trust.
Dr. Mahaveer Danigond who is a doctor by profession, was born in village and completed his MBBS in the year 1976 further DC1-I and MS(Master of surgeon) from TATA memorial hospital in Murnbai in the year 1983 and was working as a surgeon, with a big lavish existence and prestigious practice basking in the glory of name, fame and affluence in the grand city, his heart panicked for the poor and needy of his village and he decided to be back to his home town where he could render his service for the betterment and development of the society in terms of health and wellness. Within no time he set up a hospital in a small room serving hundreds of semi urban and rural people of the region, Smt. Pratibha M, Danigond, stood like a rock and a backbone by his side adapting and adjusting to the new way of life that was far more challenging than any challenges that they had faced so far, climbing on the ladder of success Further, Padma Hospital is established by Dr. Mahaveer S.Danigond in the year 1963 to benefit the poor and middle class people of Terdal town and surrounding areas, has been providing good services to the people for the past 39 years, and has earned a place in the hearts of the people. A well-equipped building and people’s services are staffed like Janardhana Seva and Vaidyo Narayana Hari, It has gained a reputation in the healthcare sector

Dr. Pushpadant M. Danigond (Son) as a Managing Director of Danigond Croup Of institutes. He has completed his M.B.B.S from prestigious SDM Medical College, Dharwad. Dr.Pushpadant M. Danigond is presently associated as consultant at Padma Hospital and also a Proprietor of Padma Indane Gas Service, Terdal.
To enhance the powerful driver of development and one of the strongest instrument for reducing poverty and improving health and for creating a peaceful and prosperous society. “If you want one year of prosperity, grow grain. If you want ten years of prosperity grow trees, If you want hundred year of prosperity, grow people” believing in the set phrase Dr. Mahaveer S. Danigond has started the SDM Trust’s Danigond Group of Institutes laid the first corner stone in the year 2004. The Institute bravely made impossible to possible in its inception to provide students at par with an international standard and affordable education to the poor and middle class. By engaging themselves in education, health and social services, with a great determination that service to god is service to mankind. Working tirelessly and selflessly for the all-round progress of the society, the educational institutes of this trust are on the path of success within a short span of time. Currently more than 2000 students are taking benefit of the same.
